freedom!

 Are we truly free?

We have been organised to reproduce nothing more. some believe in god, and some don't, that's life. yet many feel the urge to express themselves in rebellious forms. many find themselves shackled by their identity or the facade they have created for their entourage. Many believe that we lack freedom even if we can think otherwise, so what guides our moral compass?

...we are left to lead a life as we wish yet amidst the creation there was a struggle to be free. we may drink, shoot or smoke our way to freedom yet it is temporary and idle to have to witness its shortcomings. We are left to create our lives as we wish or so we think! we are left to make-believe of what is holy and so cling to whatever that has on us. we may accept fellowship if it serves our desire yet demand freedom when something is asked back as so is life. Life happens to be a give-and-take contract signed the moment we utter our first words; we are led by our instinct as many would provide evidence for, so while others tend to rationalise their way to slavery; we are left facing the unknown.

I believe that we are free to the extent of our will, and what we deem right and wrong only falls in between. incapable of deciding what goes with what we may lead depression and worry unto our lives and so struggle to merely be. I wish that there is nothing left for us to decide as it only breeds more chaos. We are made to do wrong and fail yet what is failure if we deem the whole planet to dissolve as we try to dictate what stays and what doesn't. We are merely animals on a farm guided by whichever soothes the pain of the unknown and we lead our lives to its accordance. We are slaves painted with the hopes of freedom, that we may create freedom some moment in the beyond, yet we fail to uphold true justice for each human being. our struggle for freedom may be the prison we lock ourselves into in the face of whatever goes wrong, as many would lead the idle life of modernity that guides us away from the truth into the comfortable old self. We are trapped by our own wish for freedom and so we must live what this act dictates for us.

We are either born free or guided to freedom but which is the most form of its truth, we don't know. We are slaves to the freedom we seek and so we live and die by the same wish others died to protect, that innate guidance in our intuition, perhaps that could present to be the key to our troubles to come...
